Abstract

The present study focused on socio-cultural aspect of Baiga community, the Baiga is a primitive tribal group of central India, and researcher discussed on geographical distribution, group wise classification, social institution, economy, language, art, habitat etc., document the traditional practices for the cure of different ailments by Baiga. Present study is based on secondary data, In order to collect authentic data, intensive library work in various national, state and other library. Present study present the anthropological picture of a primitive tribe and introduce a ancient tribe to academic world in 21st century.
