Abstract

After Globalization, the concept of urban development has become an essential condition of inclusive development. This process of urban development has posed an existential crisis in front of the villages. It forces us to think that the concept of urban development should be reconsidered. In India, population is increasing at a rapid pace in the last few decades. The migration of population of rural areas is also happening towards big cities. Urbanization is a part of the development process. Change of population of rural areas to urban areas. The rate of development is the criterion of the process of urbanization in a backward society but it is slow because the cities are not able to provide employment to the people living in the rural areas, but still the rapid migration of the rural population to the cities is only for the purpose of getting employment. And in this situation, that migration is intensified when special emphasis is placed on labor industries instead of capital industries. The situation has now come in about 30 countries in total which are called developed industrial countries.
