The art of weaving, carving stones, making baskets, making iron articles, making ornaments, etc. is seen in the Garhwal Himalayas. Professional artists of these arts are adopting this profession as a means of livelihood, but at present, they have become indifferent to the dependence on traditional professional art due to the increasing trend towards education, technological development, economic benefits according to labor, etc. At present, there is a change in the working style of some traditional profession for livelihood and most of them are leaving their traditional profession and adopting another profession.
