Today child labour is becoming grave problem both in India as well as for whole world. This is assuming an alarming status and demands utmost attention for the development of children who are believed to be the future of any nation. The present paper deals with the problem of child labour in various states of India as well as various legal and Constitution safeguards provided to children against practice of chtld labour.
