This paper is an attempt to analise "PUNJABI AND AWADHI SANSKAR GEET". Basically comparisons have been made between Punjabi and Awadhi ‘Sanskar Geet’ with basic emphasis on birth. marriage & death sanskars. Ultimately, this study reveals that although the form and content of ‘Sanskar Geet’ has been changed over the years but its soul remains intact inspite of difference in language/dialect across the regions.
