The present paper deals with the impact of views of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar on Indian culture. Traditionally Indian society is characterized by social stratification in the form of four fold system of Varnas inVedic period. The destnation of the Varnas is now visible in the form of rigid caste system, where so called upper class uses all the benefit and privileges and exploits the lower downtroden castes. Dr. Ambedkar emphasised on the equality of mankind and his ideas and views were redical and against the practice of untoucheability in any form.
