Abstract

The present paper is a humble tribute to my revered teacher Prof. Gopala Sarana. It depicts the ongoing scenario of Indian society in view of Communication revolution. The personal conviction is that communication revolution will rob human future by way of individual freedom, privacy and variety of choices. Human future will be that of social withdrawal for community participation and social alliance. It has been inferred that the floodgate of communication revolution by way of rapidly changing digital technology sweeps the humans of Indian civilisation. It will not get integrated or assimilated as a cultural component and will remain a technology appendage in an ongoing cultural continuity due to its inner dynamics and strength.
