The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of educational periods on the employees’ performance improvement. Indeed, the study was determined to answer the question “are educational periods effective on the employees’ performance improvement?” In this study, educational period is independent variable and employees’ performance improvement is dependent variable. The study includes a main hypothesis and three secondary hypotheses. The statistical population of this study includes educated employees of Gas Company in the province of Sistan Va Balochestan. A sample of 70 employees has been selected from this population based on Morgan table of sampling. In order to collect the research data, a questionnaire has been employed. The questionnaire was developed in Likert five-point scale. The reliability and validity of questionnaire was examined and supported in the study. Both descriptive and inferential statistics were used for analyzing the research data and testing hypotheses in the SPSS. For this purpose, T-test was used. The results of the study revealed that educational periods influence employees’ knowledge, ability, and insight. Another part of the results showed that educational periods do not influence employees’ satisfaction of planning, implementation, control, and need-assessment processes of educational periods. Also a significant relationship was observed between educational periods and employees’ performance improvement.
