Investigating results of utilizing enterprise architecture in IT & E-Government field

One of the most prominent issues with which contemporary enterprises are faced in order to use the information system is the disintegration of information systems. One of the essentials to utilize and necessity of enterprise architecture is a certain problem so called complexity. Moreover, the issue to describe and model behavior of sophisticated systems of an enterprise per se is another problem which causes to percept more the necessity of architecture at whole aspects. At this research it was tried to investigate the results of utilizing enterprise architecture at Iranian state enterprises and some solutions are recommended. Results showed that there's a significant relation between enterprise architecture and IT planning and organization, development and implementation, servicing and support, control and evaluation, e-government and qualitative advantageous.
