Knowledge and managing all of its dimensions is a part of the organization's Intellectual Capital, which needs to be managed. Since Intellectual Capital put emphasis on knowledge management, the study of organizational knowledge management and its initiatives is crucial which can help institutes of higher education to reach their own distinctive position. The main purpose of this study is to compare the Intellectual Capital based on knowledge management of managers in six dimensions including creation, capturing, organizing, saving, dissemination and application from the view point of Shiraz university managers and the staff. The study population included all university and colleges and departments administrators, and their assistants and the Shiraz university staff. The 288 respondents represented 60 mangers (by random sampling) and 228 employees (by classified random sampling) of Shiraz University, selected. Using knowledge Management Assessment Instrument, the data were collected and analyzed through SPSS16. The results show The managers have evaluated the All of knowledge management dimensions in Shiraz University further beyond the employees’ evaluation.
