The aim of this research is to determine and compare psychological empowerment in staff general directors of southern oil-bearing areas with dependent companies’ managers of southern oil-bearing areas. Sample mass is equal to statistical universe; it means all of general directors and dependent companies’ managers in south oil-bearing areas. This research is an applied research in terms of purpose and it has benefited survey method from the viewpoint of collecting data. A questionnaire was used for gathering data. Analyzing data has done by SPSS software and in two levels: descriptive and inferential statistics. Results showed that there is a significant and positive relationship between psychological empowerment, self-determination and impact and organizational rank in 99% confidence level. Furthermore, there is not any significant relationship between meaning and competence variables and organizational rank.
