In today's era of high competition and fast changing environment, organizations are concerned about optimizing their human capital. Training has become an important function of human resource. Training could lead to increased motivation and commitment, improve skill levels, develop multi-skilled employees and assist internal candidates for their promotion in the organization. The present study attempts find out the impact of training among employees of IT sector and its perception by the employees who has been undergone training programs. Thus to understands this primary research were conducted that involved 100 employees working in Information Technology (IT) sector in Mumbai using survey questionnaire. The data and information were collected, classified and analyzed by using statistical tools like percentage and frequency tables. In addition ANOVA was used to evaluate the hypotheses.
