Now, competitive worlds needs the best items to survive in competitive conditions and methodology of Six Sigma as systematic method includes a set of continual improvement to focus on processes, analysis and their comparison and estimation of resources and the processes require much attention. The defects in process or organizations lead to the re-work, energy, cost and human resources loss. Focusing mostly on reducing the defects besides reducing re-work reduces the costs of performing processes. This study explained at first Six Sigma approach briefly and then some data are collected from offshore oil company of Lavan region by 53-item questionnaire of six sigma based on 5-item Likert scale. The reliability of questionnaire is 0.799 based on Cronbach's alpha. Then, the results are analyzed by Minitab 16 and SPSS software. Finally, some recommendations regarding the company and further studies are presented. The researcher achieves considerable results and they can be used well in other industries. The present study is applied in terms of purpose and descriptive-survey in terms of method. The data collection in theoretical studies is library and is field in applied studies. Based on the results of statistical tests, implementation of Six Sigma is possible by DMAIC methodology in offshore oil company of Lavan region.
