Abstract

The study aimed to investigate the relationship between organizational commitment and job satisfaction among employees at Bushehr University of Medical Sciences.The method of study is descriptive,and standardized questionnaires such as organizational commitment questionnaire by Moday[1], Astryzoport [2] and job satisfaction Vysoky and chromium [3] have been used as a research tool.

The study population consisted of 1,102 employees of the City of Bushehr University of Medical Sciences, and 285 samples were selected using random sampling. The78% reliability using Cronbach's alpha was calculated.

According to the data analysis, the results were:

There is a significant relationship Between job satisfaction, job satisfaction, organizational commitment and job satisfaction of the supervisor and the employee's salary. Employees who have greater job satisfaction, also have higher organizational commitment. According to the research, increased job satisfaction, the rate of pay received by the employee and supervisor satisfaction,cause a greater organizational commitment. There was no significant relationship between the years of service,organizational commitment, and gender. It means people from all backgrounds and gender are committed to their organizations.
