Abstract

In today's scenario, changes are mandatory for an organization in order to survive and stay competitive. Although, planned change is intended to make the organization more effective and efficient, resistance from members of the organization are expected as they foresee potential threats that can affect their future. Therefore, readiness for change from the members of the organization is a critical factor in successful change implementation. Keeping this in mind, present study is designed to analyze the employees' readiness to change among white collar employees. A sample of 510 employees is drawn on the basis of convenient sampling. The data is collected using a well structured (7 point scale) questionnaire. The responses regarding the 13 dimension of employee readiness to change are measured with the help of descriptive as well as statistical analysis.
