Abstract

This study try to develop evaluation models for high-tech industry through SEM Model to provide an integrated framework that conceptualizes multifaceted antecedents pertaining to business performance of Taiwan's high-tech industry relation to strategic alliances. It is also useful for a firm's planning of alliance activities as a measure of achieving their business objectives and will help high-tech manufacturing executives determine their companies’ strengths and weaknesses and lead to future improvements in business operations. The results indicate that vertical alliances, horizontal and R&D alliances formed by Taiwan high technology firms positively associated with the business performances.
