The purpose of the present study is to investigate the relationship of work stress and organizational climate among the women employees of information technology industry. The authors targeted the 450 women employees in the IT industry in Bangalore, Chennai, Pondicherry and Coimbatore. The study results indicate that in the organizational climate, the mean value of perceived pay disparity was high; however it revealed that there was very less gender disparity in employee development. It was also found that in job stress the mean value of work to family spill over was very high. Furthermore, there was a significant positive association between organizational climate and job stress. After gathering the major findings and inferences in the article, the authors provide some suggestions that can promote eustress have been discussed.
