In today's scenario the complexity of jobs have been increased because of technological changes, high competition, high work stress and others. This made today's corporate executive to face the various occupational diseases like depression, high blood pressure, heart diseases, hypertension etc. The first objective of this research study is to estimate the prevalence of Hypertension in corporate world.
This study is especially focused towards the hypertension among the corporate executive and to check the awareness level of the employees it means whether they are aware or not about this disease.
According to the World Health Organization (WHO), “health is a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being, and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity.” The definition emphasize on the broader scope which is above then the absence of disease it is basically emphasizing on the well being of the person.
In today's generation has gradually started implementing the proverb that is “Prevention is better then cure”. However, for that various measures like regular checkups and lifestyle changes are being adopted by employees. The second objective of this study is to Help the corporate employees/executives to assess their current health status.
The third objective of this study is Creating awareness amongst them towards the benefits of preventive health care.
In today's scenario the companies are expecting 100% attendance from the employees side in the work place. For which the various welfare schemes are being launched by various companies to protect there employees in the terms of preventive health care.
The fourth objective of this study is to find Impact of various risk factors on hypertension/suggest remedial measures
