Some problematic weeds and their management – A review
Abstract
Among various obnoxious weeds, Parthenium hysterophorus L., Cuscuta spp., Orobanche spp., Striga spp. and Eichhomia crassipes caused severe losses in crop yield. These weeds spreaded so fast that within a few years these have covered substantial areas in the state putting pressure on the natural resources. The present paper is an effort to review the work done on some problematic weeds and their control measures.
