Management of plant nutrients for efficient use of water – A review

Water and fertilizer play a pivotal role in crop production. Judicious and precise application of these two vital inputs are necessary in the context of energy crisis for producing fertilizer and dwindling water resources. The quantity of output could be greatly improved per unit quantum of water used i.e. “Water Use Efficiency” (WUE) by application of nutrients which is directly linked to the yield of any crop. Therefore, work done nutrients is reviewed in this paper.
