Abstract

The field experiment was conducted to evaluate the babchi genotypes for psoralen content under Akola agrodimatic conditions. Among the ten genotypes tested, the maximum seed yield was obtained with genotype IC111228 followed by IC111226 and IC111238. The maximum oleoresinous extract was obtained with IC111226 followed by IC111239 and IC111246. The psoralen content was also found highest in genotype IC111228, however, it was at par with IC111238 and 1C111249.
