Abstract

An experiment to study the response of Vinca rosea to fertility and irrigation levels was conduded during 1984–85 to 1986–87. The highest dry foliage and root yields were obtained with the scheduling of irrigation at 50 mm CPE accounting to 18 irrigations. Although the highest foliage yield was obtained with 20:30:30 kg NPK/ha (recommended dose) the significant increase was noticed with only 10:15:15 kg NPK/ha (half recommended dose). Highest root yield was obtained with full recommended dose.
