A field experiment was conducted in the rainfed black soils of Krishna-Godavari zone of Andhra Pradesh on intercropping of cotton with different soybean varieties during 1994–95 to 1996–97. The yield attributes and kapas yield of cotton were not affected in 1:1 row intercropping of tested soybean varieties and also in 1:2 row intercropping with MACS 330 variety of soybean. Highest cotton equivalent yield was recorded 1:2 row intercropping of cotton and Monetta followed by 1: 1 row intercropping of cotton and PK 472.
