Eight genotypes of sugarcane were evaluated during 1996, 1997 and 1998. Pooled analysis of variance indicated non significant differences among the genotypes. The genotype x environment interaction was found to be non significant for seed yield. In general, all genotypes showed better mean cane yield performance over three seasons. Genotypes Co. 92007 was found stable with higher mean yield and had average response to the changes in the environmental conditions. The genotypes Co. 92001 and Coco 671 had higher yield potential and their performance under this irrigation command can be exploited.
