Abstract

Effect of P levels and P gradients on changes in inorganic P fractions upto the harvest of sixth crop was studied in Vertic Ustochept of Jabalpur using wheat-soybean cropping sequence. There was no marked change in Saloid P fraction with P levels, gradient and continuous harvest of six crops. Total inorganic P fractions were higher in high P gradient compared to medium P gradient. AI-P fraction increased upto the harvest of second crop and then decreased continuous with duration. There was a continuous build upof Fe-P fraction upto the harvest of 3rd and 4th crop in medium and high P gradient respectively but afterward this fraction decreased. Red-P fraction increased upto the harvest of 2nd crop and then remain almost constant. Ca-P fraction increased upto the harvest of 3rd and 5th crop in medium and high P gradient, respectively.
