Abstract

Correlation and path coefficients were studied for eight characters in 64 F1 crosses of castor. Character association studies indicated that plant height up to primary spike and effective length of primary spike was strongly associated with seed yield. Path coefficient analysis revealed that plant height up to primary spike had high direct effect on yield.
