Abstract

On the basis of three years observations, it was found that pest remained active from February to March. Average leaf curling and population at peak was recorded 81.94% and 178/leaf respectively during mid March. Systemic insecticides proved most effective in controlling the pest above 90% Neem cone. though better than control was least effective. In addition to pre-bloom spray, a postbloom spray was also found necessary fo obtain complete control of pest.
