Abstract

The present investigations were conducted on Indian mustard (Brassica juncea L.) plants grown under glass house conditions to develop the white rust on mustard plants through standardized inoculation techniques. Among eight methods of inoculation used, maximum dillease pressure (60.0%) was observed on the plants where the lower leaf surface was sprayed with germinated sporangial (zoospores) suspension and then covered with polythelene sheets for 48 hours.
