Abstract

Six antibiotics along with fungicides at different combipation were evaluated against citrus canker during 1998–99. The results showed that streptomycin sulphate (500 ppm) sprayed either alone or in combination with copper oxychloride (2000 ppm) was very effective in reducing the disease severity (2.51–2.23 no. of lesions/fruit) followed by combination spray of streptomycin (500 ppm) + Copper oxychloride (2000 ppm) (3.22) compared to control (8.29). The highest yield (577 numbers) was recorded in combination treatment of streptomycin sulphate + copper oxychloride compared to untreated check (465 numbers).
