Germination and seedling vigour of wheat as affected by allelopathy of some obnoxious weeds
Abstract
Allelopathic effects of seven obnoxious weeds viz. Parthenium, Blumea; Lantana, Calotropis, Ipomoea, Datura and Cynodon on germination and seedling vigour of wheat var. Sujata were investigated. Different extracts produced significant allelopathic effects on germination and seedling vigour of wheat. Parthenium leaf extract was identified as most harmful extract.
