Abstract

A field experiment was conducted to study the effect of dose and time of K application on yield and quality of baby corn. Two doses of K viz., 40 and 50 kg ha−1 were tried in three split doses Le. basal, 15 DAS and 30 DAS. The yield and yield components were significantly improved by the application of 50 kg K ha−1 applied in three splits, as basal, 15 DAS and 30 DAS. The nutrient uptake and crude protein content were also improved significantly.
