Abstract

The survey was conducted on ten year old trees of acid lime cv. Kagzi lime in the nine orchards of fruit growers in Bikaner district of Rajasthan state. The biggest size of fruit was recorded 5.08 x 4.32 cm., maximum average fruit weight of 41.80 g and 5.83 per cent of total titratable acidity. Peel thickness varied from 0.11 cm to 0.21 cm and the juice recovery percentage ranged from 37.94 to 46.78 per cent. The other chemical parameters like the total soluble solids, ascorbic acid content, total sugars and reducing sugars also showed wide variations in fruits from different orchards.
