Effect of different doses of phosphate fertilizer on green fodder yield of Dashrathghas (Desmanthus virgatus)
Abstract
Field experiment was conducted for three years from 1997–98 to 1999–2000, to study the effect of phosphate on green fodder yield of dashrathghas (Dasmanthus virgatus). The results revealed that the application of 50 kg P2O5 ha−1 recorded highest green fodder yield (34.43 t/ha) and found significantly superior over control and other treatments. Benefit: Cost ratio were also found significantly superior (9.14) with application of 50 kg Pps ha−1 during third year.
