Among 195 genotypes screened during kharif season of 1997, 158 genotypes were found to be free from zonate leaf spot under natural field condition, 15 were moderately resistant and 22 were susceptible to zonate leaf spot. The disease intensity ranged between 20.83 to 80.33% Maximum disease incidence was noticed on SRT 26 B x IS 2284 (PDI 83.33%) and minimum on SPH 1038 (PDI 20.83%).
