Abstract

Diagnosis and Recommendation Integrated System (ORIS) norms and sufficiency range values for N, P, K, Ca and Mg were developed for peach trees in Rajgarh area of Himachal Pradesh, based on surveys of nutrient levels of peach leaves in field experiment. Results obtained from calculated norms and sufficiency range provided a good indication of peach nutrient requirement. DRIS and sufficiency range bpproach diagnosed N and K as the major limiting nutrients. Whereas, Mg was diagnosed as the major relatively excess nutrient by DRIS approach and Ca as the major excess nutrient by sufficiency range approach.
