Field experiment was carried out during ‘kharif’ 1988. The maximum values of yield attributing characters like tillers, ear length, grains per ear, grain weight per plant, test weight as well as grain yield were recorded under manual weeding twice, which were closely followed by Oxadiazon treatment. The lowest grain yield Que to lower values of yield attributing characters was recorded under control.
