Abstract

Soil and foliar application of nitrogen alone and in combination with zinc sulphate (0.5%) increased vegetative growth of acid lime trees with respect to plant height, spread (north to south and east to west) and stem girth. The maximum increase in these parameters was recorded in the treatment of 300g soil application of nitrogen in two split doses (in the month of July, 2000 and March, 2001) and foliar spray of 1.5 per cent urea and 0.5 per cent zinc sulphate twice in the month of September, 2000 and March, 2001.
