Abstract

Laboratory experiment was conducted to study the effibency of biological agent. Results indicated that a single coccinellid beetle C. septumpunctata consumed on an average of 13.6 host mites (P. latens) during 3h. This predatory beetle can be successfully engaged in the biological control of Platens, a nefarious pest of wheat and barley in the semi arid region in Rajasthan.
