A nutrient survey of important peach growing areas of Himachal Pradesh was conducted to established data bankof 400 observations of leaf macro nutrient composition and yield. Ten nutrient expressions which have significant variance ratios namely: NIP, NIK, N/Ca, N/Mg, P/Mg, KIP, IV Mg, Ca/P, CalMg and Kx Ca in the high yielding sub-population were selected as DRIS nonns. ORIS diagnosed leaf K as the main limiting nutrient followed by N and Ca. Mg was diagnosed as major relative excess nutrient by ORIS.
