Abstract

An experiment was conducted during the winter seasons of 2000–01 to assess performance of barley varieties, to work out optimum dose of fertilizer (N+P2O5 ha−1). effect of microbial inoculation and their interaction effect on barley varieties. Varieties RD 2052 and RD 2035 being equally efficient in productivity were significantly superior over RD 2503. Application of 80+40 kg N+P2O5 ha−1 gave significantly higher yield than other two levels. Dual inoculation with Az+PSB significantly improved the yield of barley over no inoculation.
