Abstract

An experiment was conducted to study the residue levels of carbendazim and captan in mango peel and pulp after storage period. For this purpose, fuily ripened Kesar mango fruits kept at room temperature (24.18 to 30.57°C and 47.50 to 74.00% RH) for 20 days were studied for its pesticidal residue. It was observed that the residues of carbendazim and captan with and without use of waxol were below detectable limit of peel and pulp of ripe mango fruits stored at room temperature.
