In a field experiment conducted from kharif 1992–93 to rabi 1993–94, plant height, dry matter accumulation and grain yield of maize were found significantly higher in maize-lentil sequence than other sequences while maize equivalent yield and maize equivalent efficiency were significantly higher in maize-potato-wheat sequence during both the years of study.
