Abstract

A field experiment was conducted to study the effect of micronutrients (Fe, Mo and Zn alone and in combination) with and without Rhizobium application on quality, content and uptake by chickpea (Cicer arietinum). The content and uptake of Fe, Mo, Zn, N and P irrespective of Rhizobium increased significantly with the addition of rnicronutrients individually or in combination over the control. Although negative interaction among 20, P and Zn, Fe have been noted. The magnitude of response varied for different treatments Multinutrient applications showed beneficial effect on the quality, yield and uptake by chickpea.
