Abstract

The experiment on effect of different temperature to increase the self life of Trichoderma formulation in milky-white polypropylene bag was evaluated. The results indicated that, the population of antagonist in talc, FVM and lignite formulation steadily increased up to 30 days of storage with increased temperature (5 to 30°C). Studies on storage temperature reveled that temperature of 20–30°c was optimum to store talc, FVM and lignite based Trichoderma fonnulation in milky-white bags. The mean population of 347–376, 251–274 and 247-275x106 cfu/g was observed in talc, FYM and lignite based formulation at 20–30°c after 90 days of storage. This indicates that product could be safely stored as talc, FVM and lignite based formulations in milky white bags at room temperature (20–30°C) for 90 days.
