The crude protein content increased and total carbohydrate content decreased significantly in seed with the application of nitrogen + Azotobacter in all the cultivars of wheat. The protein and carbohydrate content did not show much differences among cultivars. The highest protein content was found with 100 kg N ha−1 + 1 kg Azotobacter treatment.
