Lucknow-49 fruits, revealed that treatment of fruits with GA3 (100 ppm) gave significantly better results than the other treatments. The higher concentration of GA3 (100 ppm) recorded the highest mean values of moisture content (82.09%), ascorbic acid (225.9 mg/100 g), total sugars (7.30%), chlorophyll content (1.560 mg/g) and total phenols (0.220%) compared to the rest of the treatments at the end of nine days of storage.
