Abstract

The Seed-borne pathogen Colleterichum capsici was isolated from cotton seed. The bioagents viz., Trichoderma viride, T. hamatum, T. harzianum, T. longiforum and T. koningil were tested for their antagonistic property against C. capsici by direct bit placement method. All the biological agents were significantly superior over control in checking the growth of C. capsici. Among the biological agents, T. hamatum was significantly very effective in checking the growth of tested C. capsici under in-vitro conditions.
