Perceived training needs of village extension workers

Abstract

The present study was conducted in Dausa district of Rajasthan state. In total 100 respondents were randomly selected and interviewed for the study. The findings indicated that 86.33 per cent village extension workers (VEWs) desired training in subject ‘Evaluation techniques’ followed by 85.00 per cent were faced training about organic farming to enhance the agricultural production without degradation in soil environment. Whereas 57.66 per cent VEWs were desired least training needs about vegetable and fruit preservations for use in off season.
