A field experiment was conducted to study the influence of dry matter accumulation (DMA) on variable yield of linseed genotypes. Maximum DMA was observed at flowering than vegetative stage. Variety Neelam produced highest seed yield ha−1 and maintained maximum DMA at flowering, seeds/capsule and 1000-seed weight. Correlation studies revealed that seed yield was significantly correlated with DMA at flowering, leaf water potential at the stages, seed weight/plant, seed/capsule and harvest index.
