Effect of foliar application of micronutrient on yield and yield attributes on Indian mustard {Brassica juncea (L.)}
Abstract
A field study was carried out on clay loam soils during rabi 2001–02 to study the response of mustard for zinc, boron and molybdenum application in addition to the recommended NPK and FYM alone. The combination of Zn + B + Mo gave significantly higher values of yield attributes which were closely followed by B + Mo. The treatment with B + Mo, however, recorded the highest 1000 seed weight and seed yield which accounted for 24 per cent increase over the recommended NPK and 56 per cent increase over FYM alone.
